Hand Balancing Mastery Course
Now Released in a Newly Expanded Edition…
“The Closest You Can Get To Having A Magic Pill That Will
Instantly Turn You Into A Expert At the Fine Art Of Hand Balancing”
Take Away The Frustration and Doubt with a
Step-by-Step System to Hand Balancing Success…Guaranteed!
Dear Hand Balancer,
How much fun would it be to hold a handstand or even one on a single arm? Just imagine the muscular control and strength at your fingertips.
That was my thinking several years back. With my goal in mind I began doing handstand after handstand, falling over again and again. Being successful seemed so distant and I was left screaming, “Why is this so hard?”
After my initial fruitless attempts, I was lucky enough to stumble upon some instruction in the form of The True Art and Science of Hand Balancing. Shortly after that, I enrolled in an Adult Gymnastics class. With this help I made progress. Still something was not quite right.
My methods seemed to be hit-or-miss (mostly miss)
I encountered daily frustration trying to perfect my handstand. It got so bad at points that I stopped hand balancing all together for periods of time. Now you don’t need to be an expert to know that you’ll never achieve anything that way.
I couldn’t help but to think to myself why hadn’t anyone come up with a proven step-by-step system that leads you by the hand through the beginning and advanced levels of hand balancing…that is until I found it!
What if You were Handed the Instructions to take a Bunch of Simple Tasks
which Lead You Inevitably Down the Road to Hand Balancing Success?
Wouldn’t you listen and follow these steps? How much would they be worth to you?
Let me introduce you to The Orlick Method of Hand Balancing and the main who invented it.
| Professor E.M. Orlick is one of the most highly qualified handbalancing authorities of all time.
Over the years he has taught handbalancing to thousands of students in person and to countless thousands more through his courses, booklets, magazine articles, and via correspondence. His pupils can be found in every country in the world. Many of them have become instructors themselves and are now teaching the same effective Orlick Methods to their pupils. It is doubtful if anyone anywhere, in the entire history of gymnastics, has done so much to spread the “Art of Handbalancing” as Prof. E.M. Orlick. Anyone who is interested in handbalancing, for any reason whatever, whether amateur or professional, gymnast, acrobat, dancer, bodybuilder, weight-lifter, strength athlete, physical culturist, stunt man, diver, coach, teacher, physical instructor, or anything else, will benefit from Prof. E.M. Orlick’s outstanding Handbalancing Courses. They are packed full of valuable information, are easy to understand, easy to follow, and more complete than anything else ever written about the exciting sport of HANDBALANCING. -Dr. R.J. Douglas |
One Problem with Hand Balancing is Most People Don’t Know Where to Start
…and It’s Never the Obvious Answer!
Follow these misleading perceptions like I did early on and you are doomed to the long slow road in hand balancing if you even ever have any success at all.
The Orlick Method involves not ignorantly going after one stunt way beyond your abilities, but instead building up to it with a series of easier, lead-up stunts. You’ll find even more on why this is essential near the end of this page.
These lead-up stunts allow you to progress faster and further then you would otherwise.
- Instead of just trying to do a handstand, you build the strength for it and do easier stunts like the headstand, frogstand and others to build up your balancing skills. (This is what I built my Secrets of the Handstand Quick Start DVD off of.)
- Instead of walking up a flight of stairs you confidently learn how to stand first, then walk and stop easily, then progress with small steps.
- Instead of flying from a handstand into the one hand handstand you lessen your base of support with close handstands, you stabilize and strengthen the shoulders, and only then do you incrementally inch your way onto one hand.
(By the way these are very incomplete examples, just general overviews, of the instructions found in Orlicks’ books)
Other books and courses, even coaches, may help you by showing you the moves but the real magic (and how you’ll actually progress to doing the moves) is in the system you follow in order to reach those hand balancing skills.
Don’t take my word for it, listen to what others are saying about the Hand Balancing Mastery Course.
“…nothing short of the Hand Balancing Bible!”“When I received the Hand Balancing Mastery Course a wave of excitement passed over me. One of those feelings when I just knew ‘this was gonna be great’. And besides, it was said to be ‘the most complete course on the art of hand balancing ever written’. And I was about to discover the truth of that statement for myself. There is so much amazing information that I’ve found myself constantly referring to it. The course is nothing short of the Hand Balancing Bible! The Hand Balancing Mastery Course has something for everyone, whether you want to be a Circus Acrobat, Olympic Gymnast or just learn to do a handstand.” “The Hand Balancing Mastery Course practically leads by the hand, step by step on giving you the knowledge and information to learn and improve your handbalancing. I went from not having the power and strength to even hold a handstand on the wall to being able to hold the (free) handstand for 10 seconds in one month! That’s the power of this course, if you’re willing to use it.” “Unbelievable – There is so much information that I’m set for a life time. I love the variety and the progresions. The headstand variations will keep me busy for months. Once the handstand can be performed the volume of other stunts that come off of the handstand is mind boggeling. Its a fantastic book – well worth the price. The title is absolutely correct – IT IS the MASTERY COURSE – I have seen nothing like it before.” |
Enough of an introduction. Let’s drill down into all the amazing material you’ll find in the Hand Balancing Mastery Course.
Book 1 – Hand Balancing Made Easy
Everything you need to know to get started (and quickly) on learning hand balancing including how and when to train is covered.
Hand balancing will build great strength but there are certain exercises that can’t be beat in results and functionality. Whether you need to build the strength for a Tiger-Stand Press-up, the core strength to hold a difficult position, or fingers capable of clawing the ground to prevent any chance of overbalancing, everything you need is covered including:
- 17 Exercises for the Fingers, Wrists, and Forearms
- 10 Exercises for the Arms
- 5 Exercises for the Shoulders
- 18 Exercises for the Abdominals and Low Back
- 6 Exercises for the Legs
This is a complete course on getting into great shape but it is just the launching pad for what’s coming next. Now that you are strong and prepared, discover:
- The 7 Exercises to Develop the Muscular Control you Absolutely Must Have to Hold yourself Upside-Down
- 10 Headstand Variations that will build your Ability to Balance from any position
- 14 other Lead-Up stunts to prepare your mind and body for the handstand ahead, as well as being great tricks in and
of themselves
Follow these steps and when you get started with the handstand you’ll find you’re already over half way there. Learn how to master the kick-up and some lesser known variations.
But the handstand is only the beginning. There is so much more:
- 20 Different ways to position your Legs
- 25 Different ways to position your Hands
- 12 Different ways to position your Body and Head
- 10 Different ways to change your Finger positions
- Add more variety with Body Twisting and Combination Moves
- 9 Presses to Build the most Powerful Arms and Shoulders
The best part is each move leads you right into the next. And almost every single exercise is illustrated to show you the proper way to do it.
Once you have mastered the moves above you are in the big leagues and can go after even more exciting moves. These intermediate and advanced
stunts are covered extensively in the next two books.
Book 2 – Walking and Jumping on Your Hands
Professor Orlick tells his story of walking down eight flights of stairs at one time. Can you imagine having that kind of skill and strength?
You can with step-by-step instructions (no pun intended) for walking, running, jumping, climbing and more all on your hands. I was blown away by the
simplicity in how the Professor presented this material.
Here is a partial list of what’s inside:
- Why you Must Learn to Stand on your Hands First
- The Orlick Walk-n-Stop Method for Absolute Handstand Control

Book 3 – How to Do the One-Hand Handstand
The One Hand Handstand is at least 10 times as difficult as the normal handstand. Just about every single aspiring hand balancer wants to master this trick far and above any other because it is so damn cool.
They say only one in a hundred people can hold a handstand. And out of those less than one in a thousand can do this amazing stunt. That means less than
1 in 100,000 can do it.
How would you like to be that one?
I have seen lots written about this subject but I must say, there is no better instruction then in this book on how to achieve the lofty goal of a one hand handstand.

P.S. Here’s a few more short reviews from others on the Mastery Course:
| “It gave me proper methods of easing into the skill, rather than just throwing myself onto my hands and blindly holding the handstand.” - Shane Ioane of Honolulu, HW“The HBMC helped by offering not only pictures of what the stunt should look like, it offered lead up exercises.” - Felix Cincotta of Feeding Hills, MA “It has taken me from not being able even to stand against the wall to a minute frogstand and headstand and 15 seconds of free handstand “Thanks Logan, I received the course yesterday and just wanted to say how impressed at was – I figured you’d be quick but that was something else! Only had time for a quick flick through but it looks awesome and I’m definitely going to rearrange my training around hand-balancing. I’ve been watching loads of Cirque Du Soleil DVDs and its always the hand-balancing that I find most impressive. ” “It taught me the exact position to be in in order to hold a hand balance. Before I had no idea.” “Gave me the tools to go from no handstand to 3 seconds just by reading it (in about 30 minutes)” “What are some of the main things I’ve taken away from the Hand Balancing Mastery Course. The importance of kick up. The importance of using your hands for balance and the importance of regular practice.” “Shows more variety of methods, and more advanced holds. Good training info.” “I’ve learned different ways of kicking up and different positions of body parts, as well as the strengthening exercises and progressions.” “Give great exercises and progression for faster progress.” “My parents got me this for my b-day and I have read through it many many times. I have progressed from kicking up and instantly falling over to being able to do 5-10 second balances 9 out of 10 times.” |
