"Handstand Zero to

Hand Balancing Hero"

Take Away The Frustration and Doubt With a
Step-by-Step System to Hand Balancing Success...Guaranteed!

Dear Hand Balancer,

How much fun would it be to hold a handstand? Just imagine the muscular control and strength at your fingertips.

That was my thinking a couple years back. With my goal in mind I began doing handstand after handstand, falling over again and again. Being successful seemed so distant and I was left screaming, "Why is this so hard?"

After my initial fruitless attempts, I was lucky enough to stumble upon some instruction in the form of The True Art and Science of Hand Balancing. Shortly after that, I enrolled in an Adult Gymnastics class. With this help I made some progress.

Still something was not quite right.

My methods seemed to be hit-or-miss. I encountered daily frustration trying to perfect my handstand. It got so bad at points that I stopped hand balancing all together for a period of time. Now you don’t need to be an expert to know that you'll never achieve anything that way.

I couldn’t help but to think to myself why hadn't anyone come up with a proven step-by-step system that leads you by the hand through the beginning and advanced levels of hand balancing.

The problem was that there was nothing like that on the planet. Unless you were so lucky as to find a personal mentor who took pity on you and taught you every single day.

The only other option was to pave your own path. If you were lucky then you might find some direction, but even with these other books and instruction it leaves so much up to you to figure out how to put the pieces of the puzzle together.

The sad fact is all the words in the world won’t let you magically have a handstand.

With my on and off approach it took me over a year to get to the point of holding myself up on my hands in a stable position. Even then it was far from great.

But it doesn’t have to take you nearly that long.

The handstand is a difficult trick. Don’t be fooled by anyone telling you otherwise. Balancing on your hands takes a lot of practice and unfortunately there is no way to get around this fact.

But there is no reason to make it any more difficult than it needs to be.

I know that you can master the balancing aspect much quicker than I did.

What if someone handed you the instructions to take a bunch of simple tasks which lead you inevitably down the road to the handstand success?

Wouldn’t you listen and follow these steps? How much would they be worth to you?

About two years into my hand balancing journey I got a hold of some old books by Professor E.M. Orlick. It took me a while to realize the sheer genius behind his words. You see, the steps that the Professor lays out are deceiving in their simplicity.

Prof. E.M. Orlick is one of the most highly qualified handbalancing authorities of all time. He is a member of the world-famous "Orlick Family" which has been thrilling audiences with its spectacular gymnastic feats for four generations.

Besides being an outstanding handbalancer himself, Prof. E.M. Orlick also possesses exceptionally high qualifications of training and experience. He has attended 7 different Universities in 2 different countries and holds 5 recognized University Degrees. He has taught handbalancing, gymnastics, and other physical education activities in public schools, high schools, playgrounds, YMCA's, dance studios, recreation centers, colleges and universities for many years.

He has served as National Chairman of Gymnastics for the AAU, as an Official Representative on the international Gymnastic Federation, as a member of the Pan American Games Committee, the British Empire Games Committee, the Olympic Committee and in many other important capacities.

Over the years he has taught handbalancing to thousands of students in person and to countless thousands more through his courses, booklets, magazine articles, and via correspondence. His pupils can be found in every country in the world. Many of them have become instructors themselves and are now teaching the same effective Orlick Methods to their pupils. It is doubtful if anyone anywhere, in the entire history of gymnastics, has done so much to spread the "Art of Handbalancing" as Prof. E.M. Orlick.

Anyone who is interested in handbalancing, for any reason whatever, whether amateur or professional, gymnast, acrobat, dancer, bodybuilder, weight-lifter, strength athlete, physical culturist, stunt man, diver, coach, teacher, physical instructor, or anything else, will benefit from Prof. E.M. Orlick's outstanding Handbalancing Courses. They are packed full of valuable information, are easy to understand, easy to follow, and more complete than anything else ever written about the exciting sport of HANDBALANCING.

-Dr. R.J. Douglas

One problem is that most people don’t know where to start. And it’s not the obvious answer.

Follow this misleading perception and you are doomed to the long slow road in hand balancing if you even ever have any success at all.

The best way for you to learn the handstand is not by doing a poor attempt at a handstand over and over.

Same with any other stunt whether it’s the One Hand Handstand or climbing up stairs on your hands.

This course breaks down everything you need to know in simple to follow steps. That’s why this is…

The Closest Thing You Can Get To A Magic Pill That Will
Instantly
Turn You Into A Expert At the Fine Art Of Hand Balancing

Let’s introduce just what you will be getting in the Hand Balancing Mastery Course.

Hand Balancing Made Easy

Everything you need to know to get started (and quickly) on learning hand balancing including how and when to train is covered.

Hand balancing will build great strength but there are certain exercises that can’t be beat in results and functionality. Whether you need to build the strength for a Tiger-Stand Press-up, the core strength to hold a difficult position, or fingers capable of clawing the ground to prevent any chance of overbalancing, everything you need is covered including:
  • 17 Exercises for the Fingers, Wrists, and Forearms
  • 10 Exercises for the Arms
  • 5 Exercises for the Shoulders
  • 18 Exercises for the Abdominals and Low Back
  • 6 Exercises for the Legs
This is a complete course on getting into great shape but it is just the launching pad for what's coming next. Now that you are strong and prepared, discover:
  • The 7 Exercises to Develop the Muscular Control you Absolutely Must Have to Hold yourself Upside-Down
  • 10 Headstand Variations that will build your Ability to Balance from any position
  • 14 other Lead-Up stunts to prepare your mind and body for the handstand ahead, as well as being great tricks in and of themselves
Get started with the handstand and you will find you are already half way there. Learn how to master the kick-up and some lesser known variations.

But the handstand is only the beginning. No one I know is satisfied with just holding a handstand but not to worry because there is so much more.
  • 20 Different ways to position your Legs
  • 25 Different ways to position your Hands
  • 12 Different ways to position your Body and Head
  • 10 Different ways to change your Finger positions
  • Add more variety with Body Twisting and Combination Moves

The best part is each move leads you right into the next. And almost every single exercise is illustrated to show you the proper way to do it.

Once you have mastered the moves above you are in the big leagues and can go after even more exciting moves. These advanced stunts are covered extensively in the next two sections.

Walking and Jumping on Your Hands

Professor Orlick tells his story of walking down eight flights of stairs at one time. Can you imagine having that kind of skill and strength?

And you can with step-by-step instructions (no pun intended) for walking, running, jumping, climbing and more. I was blown away by the simplicity in how the Professor presented this material.

Here is a partial list of what’s inside:
  • Why you Must Learn to Stand on your Hands First
  • The Orlick Walk-n-Stop Method for Absolute Handstand Control
  • Ordinary Handwalking and 5 Variations
  • Walking Backwards and Sideways

From your first baby steps to jumping on top of tables it is all inside. Broken down into instructions so simple you’re going to be smacking your head saying “why didn’t I think of that?”

How to Do the One-Hand Handstand

The One Hand Handstand is at least 10 times as hard as the normal handstand. Just about every single aspiring hand balancer wants to master this trick far and above any other because it is so damn cool.

They say only one in a hundred people can hold a handstand. And out of those less than one in a thousand can do this amazing stunt. That means less than 1 in 100,000 can do it.

How would you like to be that one?

I have seen lots written about this subject but I must say, there is no better instruction then in this book on how to achieve the lofty goal of a one hand handstand.

Here are some of the details inside:
  • 17 exercises to build the strength and stability you need to hold this trick (my personal favorites are the Wig-Wag and Heavy Hold-Ups)
  • How to Start at the Half-way mark
  • Tips on Fingertip control
  • 8 Lead-up Exercises that will develop the Control, Strength, and Stability you require for the One Hand Handstand
  • The Correct Hand Positions
  • The Two Leg Positions you should go after and which ones to avoid
  • The RIGHT WAY to learn the One Hand Handstand
  • How to Ease your way into the correct Position
  • Most of the exercises are illustrated to show correct form
  • And more

Only had time for a quick flick through but it looks awesome and I'm definitely going to rearrange my training around hand-balancing. I've been watching loads of Cirque Du Soleil DVDs and its always the hand-balancing that I find most impressive. "

Thanks again,

"...nothing short of the Hand Balancing Bible!"

When I received The Hand Balancing Mastery Course a wave of excitement passed over me. One of those feelings when I just knew ‘this was gonna be great’. And besides, it was said to be ‘the most complete course on the art of hand balancing ever written’. And I was about to discover the truth of that statement for myself.

The first book in the course, Hand Balancing Made Easy, begins with a fascinating history of hand balancing right through the ages and the part it has played and still plays in many other disciplines as well as how it has evolved through the times.

Professor Orlick gives us an overview of how hand balancing can be beneficial to a wide variety of sports outside of the art of hand balancing itself and how it can help shape the person underneath whatever activity they are involved in. I found the information throughout the text about adopting the correct frame of mind fascinating, and you get a feeling about how hand balancing can become a spiritual activity for someone who devotes themselves to it. This is clearly evident in Prof Orlick’s passion in his writing. Everything is touched upon from adequate rest to when to train.

There is a great section on warm up exercises for the hand balancer including ‘the hand balancers exercise’, a very simple but amazing little movement that you will never leave out of your warm up again. We come then to one of the most extensive list of forearm and grip development exercises I have ever seen. Anyone who has ever kicked up to a handstand can appreciate just how much an important role the fingers and forearms play.

There is also a whole body strengthening program of exercises that can be followed, many of which are the very same exercises my strength coach has me performing today. All the exercises are fully detailed with illustrations and text.

We then come on to the main part, the hand balancing itself!

Professor Orlick first takes us through a series of preliminary stunts all of which are both helping lay strong foundations for the later stunts and yet are in themselves amazing physical feats. My eyes were truly opened to the unlimited number of variations that all stem from the basic two handed handstand. The descriptions are very detailed and full of helpful training hints to master each particular stunt. The shocking thing is that by combining all the various body , hand and leg positions offered we are given a bag of tricks that offer MORE THAN ONE THOUSAND DIFFERENT HANDSTAND TRICKS!

We are then presented with a whole host of presses to handstand ranging from the simplest press up to the seemingly impossible! In short this first book alone contains enough info and skills to work on that several lifetimes wouldn’t be enough to truly master them. Yet I found myself dedicated to that very goal.

The next book in the course is walking and jumping on your hands. Professor Orlick here shows us the difference between truly walking on your hands and falling forward, the difference is HUGE! Everything you can think of and that you probably could never imagine doing on your hands is covered from basic walking, to walking up and down stairs, dancing and tap dancing!, running, jumping, climbing, skipping, basically anything you can think is possible to do on your feet you are taught to do on your hands. I  was left completely amazed and inspired! My seemingly crazy goal of being able to ride a unicycle on my hands whilst juggling with my feet, seemed tame compared to some of this stuff!

The descriptions again are second to none and full of little hints and tips that pop out to you.

The final book of the three is How To Do the One Hand Handstand.
For a truly amazing stunt that I have read as much as is available about I have never read such a thorough, detailed account of not only how to go about learning this incredible feat, but all the special preparation for it, the lead up progressions and the correct frame of mind. Professor Orlick’s writing as is in all his books is very inspirational and yet there something very special in this book: he plants the seed of a most important thing, belief in yourself.

Along with the three books, the course also has a special report from Logan Christopher. This is full of helpful hints and tips and answers many of the questions people have about certain elements of hand balancing. I found personally that making a hand balancing chart that Logan details has helped my progress a great deal. There is so much amazing information that I’ve found myself constantly referring to it. The course is nothing short of the Hand Balancing Bible!

Along with the books, the course is also complete with 3 audio interviews with Jim Bathurst, Ed Baran and Mark Reifkind. All three interviews are truly amazing and very entertaining. I loved listening to other people who are so passionate about hand balancing and training in general. I have listened to each interview several times and every time I come away with something new. I find myself sitting with a pad just taking notes that could fill a book themselves. I also like to play the interviews whilst hand balancing as both inspiration and to flood my consciousness with it!

I found Mark Reifkinds accounts of the amount of time, discipline and training that goes into performing at Gymnastics at the level he was as eye opening, but for some one who wants to do this as a profession it was pure gold.

The Hand Balancing Mastery Course has something for everyone, whether you want to be a Circus Acrobat, Olympic Gymnast or just learn to do a handstand. There’s a deeper element to this course, if you go deep enough you might just come face to face with it.
